City fans rushed by Spanish Police

Not wishing to detract from the topic too far but the mods are a bit fussy about starting new threads (bless 'em).

However and to th point.

How do you think GMP's finest would react if the Dortmund fans go to the city centre - Picadilly say, and start belting a couple of footballs high into the air for an hour or more. Do you think they would tolerate it, somehow I think they would put a stop to it.

The baton incident was in a different place to where the football was being kicked around. The football had nothing to do with it.
GMP certainly would stop it if the same happened in picc, but im sure they wouldnt wack everyone in site with a batton!

I agree and was at both locations, but just got me thinking whether or not British Bobbies would allow a ball to be belted around, thats all. Like I said mods don't like new threads.

Sorry if this has already been posted.

This is good because it's easy excuse for UEFA to say the fans were pissed up and rowdy but they're going to have a hard time defending this.

Re: video of spanish police beating charlton athletic chairman &

I knew Michael Slater was there but that article suggests he's the one who gets fucking poleaxed at the beginning of the footage.

Yes he is apparently!
More mileage in this I reckon.
