Just a few questions for our extended family members.

Where were you from in the UK?

Why did you emigrate?

Where did you go to live?

How long ago did you leave the UK?

How many blues live near you now?

Do you miss being in the UK?

Will you ever come home?

What's the best thing about being a city fan a long way from home?

Just a few questions for our extended family members.

Where were you from in the UK? Originally Manchester but lived most of my life in the UK in Oldham and Lincoln.

Why did you emigrate? I saw the way the UK was heading and wanted no part of it.

Where did you go to live? Numerous places, most notably Italy, Spain, Portugal, Czech Republic and for the last 10 years Thailand.

How long ago did you leave the UK? About 20 years ago.

How many blues live near you now? About 15 of us and we now have our own supporters club branch.

Do you miss being in the UK? Never. Haven't set foot in the UK since I left. The only thing I miss is being at the ground for games but at least I get to see every game live.

Will you ever come home? No, never. I still have my season ticket but doubt I will ever use it. The more I read/hear about the UK these days, the more I am certain I made the right choice.

What's the best thing about being a city fan a long way from home? Life is far better (for me at least) and I still get to see every minute of every City game, even if some of them are on at rather unsociable hours.

Where were you from in the UK? Altrincham

Why did you emigrate? Lifestyle, sunshine and adventure

Where did you go to live? Perth, Western Australia

How long ago did you leave the UK? About 4 years ago.

How many blues live near you now? loads

Do you miss being in the UK? Only for the match but that matchday experience had changed at the new stadium

Will you ever come home? No, never. although I heard they are making 3000 bobbies redundant, it's good to hear the war on crime has been won........

What's the best thing about being a city fan a long way from home? You can watch the game without getting caught up in the hype and histeria, you can see how close Mancini is to getting it right.
2nd best has been helping a lifelong rag who has never visited OT get tickets for the game. I've given him $20 in with an envelope addressed Canal Street Manchester and a note in it saying show him a good time. I've told him to give it hand it to the fella with the moustache who looks like Merv Hughes, he flies out tomorrow.
