City fans today

Why Always Ste said:
I didn't like the "Where are all the Mancs" chants and so on today as I've met a good number of Blues, some I met today who have grew up Daarn Saarth and yet are blue through and through due to their Grandparents/Parents etc originally being from Mancunia.

Just because someone may not sound like they are from around our neck of the woods, or may not be White....Doesn't mean they aren't hardcore Blues.

Chatting to a few guys in that Havana bar and he was making out that I was a "proper" fan (whatever the fuck that is) because of my roots yet he had come all the way over from Dubai just to see that 0-0...

It ain't where your from... it's where your at!

I totally agree. what is a 'proper fan' anyway? I live 3 hours from Manchester, but I travel to watch the games and love the club.

Saw us getting slagged off on twitter by some Chelsea fans, must just be a bit bitter

Interesting. They were awful. Much more quiet than our home support.

Something along the lines of "First time they sell out their allocation and they sit down in silence for 90mins #shitsupport"

Decided to give this one a miss because London aways are getting so pricey but sounded decent on the telly

Obviously didn't go otherwise simply couldn't have said that, the support was decent yesterday, far better than the west ham game.
Chelsea's support was very poor

Was very good today, helped by the fact we took the full allocation.

Well done Blues.

As previously said, getting into the ground was an absolute joke, is there REALLY any need to search each and every male person with a full body frisk?

Can we also add that they appear to search and frisk every FEMALE person as well!!

But, having said that, I didn't encounter a queue and the stewards were very friendly and polite and even wished us luck!!

Just to get the moans out of the way: only 7 turnstiles for 3,000 fans. Even if they could get someone through each turnstile every 5 seconds, it'd still take about 35 minutes to get everyone in. We missed kick off even though we arrived a good 15 minutes before, and there were plenty still behind us.

We were in the upper tier and most people around us were sitting down. I had to go and stand in the aisle. There was a guy near me who filmed large portions of the match on his mobile.

Still though, there was actually a good atmosphere.

it was a good atmosphere but i do have a moan.

as people have already stated getting into the ground was a joke, 3 or 4 sets of 'security, searched & THEN the turnstiles, madness.

i was in the upper tier & was told to sit down a number of times(by fellow city fans)....pissed off to say the least. clearly first timers whom dont undertsand the meaning of an away match,

i did notice the amount of 'toruists' in our end...not majorly bothered by that BUT i do want to know how they got their tickets. i heard the rendition of "where the fuck are all the mancs"

finally loved the constant signing of "we are the champions, champions of england".

all in all good day out, good atmosphere & decent result. im just a moaning get haha

The "tourists" probably got their tickets as it went to open sale.

Sounds like a different experience depending on which tier you were in. I was in the lower and didn't see many touristy types and also got into the stadium quickly.

It always easy getting tickets for London games. If people don't like tourists taking up freely available tickets maybe they should look at why they're not being sold out earlier.

As for where have the Mancs gone, if a Manc wanted a ticket they would have got one.
