City feature film coming Summer 2010

It's a documentry on 'the rise' and it's done by a rather nice production company. It will be alot about the history aswell it seems as they've been trying to get people that went to some of the bigger games in our history to give their recounts.

It should be quality footage and they will have a heap spare. Some of which may get used in another documentry for when we do actually win something.

It's been a drama of a year so i actually wonder how much footage got the chop. I think they initially were following the footsteps of Robinho, and we all know what happened to him.

it wouldnt be hard to follow him, HES OVER THERE STANDIN STILL AND DAY DREAMING ABOUT HOW TO SPEND HIS ILL GOTTEN GAINS.

Can't wait to see it. If there is no great ending then it's just an education to non-blues as to what our existence is like...... so far.

Talking of fans and I can't start a thread yet. What about Carl Tilson also on OS website after winning Mancunian of the Year.

What an inspiring individual. If this film is about the fans then surely this guy should be in it.

I recall watching something similar on Barca, when they were in the doldrums not long ago.

It centred around Laporta trying to become president and signing Ronaldinho from under manure's noses.

If I was City, instead of making it confined only to our fans, would have liked to have seen it aired on ITV.

It could easily have been nosed on the sleeping giant awakening, a look inside a Premier League club.

I remember Sheffield United doing something in mid 80s.

You give City to a national audience, attracting blues and general fans alike.

Increases our profile and poss attract more fans?

This was an excellent documentary, I think it was on BBC4 not long after it launched.

Trust me, this film/documentary is going to be absolutely brilliant. It's not some snide one man and a camera job, it's the real deal, proper quality footage. I'm not going to spoil the suprise by telling you anymore, but trust me, you will definately want to watch it.

Don't forget it's been one hell of a season! The games at the start of the season, the Carling Cup run, the ditching of Robinho, the trip to Abu Dhabi, the roller coaster of result, the change of managers and now this final run in for the fourth spot. To be fair, it's been quite a good season to do a documentary on. It'd be the icing on the cake if we got that fourth spot, but then again, it'd sum up City all over if we just missed out on it with West Ham beating us last game of the season to stay up or something.

Roughly translated means that as a club employee you are in it/working on it then?!?!?!?!
