Can one of you financial experts please explain to me how Bayern earn so much?!?
The Bundesliga doesn't have the global exposure of the PL so it can't generate as much TV and sponsorship s. They have cheaper ticket prices, so less money there. I don't see many of there kits about outside of Germany... where are they selling them? Just doesn't seem to add up to me!

Bayern are run by German big business. Nominally owned by fans but the board who control it are directors of major German companies

Its the reason why the German model only works in Germany. They have a huge industrial base that supports teams and indeed towns. Audi etc etc

How convenient. When a Middle Eastern oil company moves into a city and regenerates it, those same German clubs are amongst the first to condemn it.

We might add that big sponsors like Allianz, Audi and Adidas are also rather big shareholders... Not that such a flagrant related party transaction is odd in any way, oh no..this is Bayern ffs!

because they strip every other team of any decent player they have making it a one club league which allow them to get the vast majority of advertising revenue for themselves

Yeah I get that - my point being that there whole financial base is centred pretty much solely in Germany - yet ourselves, Real Madrid, the Rags etc. etc. are all global earnings, so again how do they make so much?
