GDM, I've been meaning to ask you for a while.......if it's not a personal question like...... are you a man?
I'm a 'ladies man' if that helps in any way.

It is correct to point out that, technically, City were not fined. UEFA are going to withhold some of our prize money from the CL, to a total of €60 million. If FFP is found unlawful by the ECJ we will get any money actually withheld paid to us. Platini may avoid this if he changes the regulations.

Article 101 states that agreements to limit investment are "prohibited" and that any agreements resulting are "automatically null and void". The agreement to withhold the monies would, therefore, be null and void. The court would not be interested in whether we accepted it, agreed to it, saw it as a pinch in the slightest, since it stems from a prohibited agreement.

Would be funny as fuck if UEFA have to go cap in hand to the other CL clubs and ask for money back so they can give it to us. Can't see it happening, though. Unfortunately.

Found the last page or so quite entertaining. Didn't understand most of it but banter is like that i suppose.

I think we are all waiting with eager anticipation to the next phase now that FFP1 comes to a conclusion.
I just feel that we should all be proud of the dignified way that ADUG have gone about their business waiting for time to mature their investment in the face of ignorance, hostility, illegal practices and an ill informed media that was all too willing to magnify our problems yet reluctant to simply applaud our successes.

I feel really sorry for ADUG because their selfless regeneration of East Manchester has not been given anything like the publicity it deserves. I understand they will benefit significantly via their various partnerships at Council and University level but our part of the world had been abandoned by the Government and was an eyesore that the Council simply could not find the money to clear.

cross, keys and Gray talking about FFP, calling it unfair play and suggesting it was going because of the new Prem TV deal and fear that the top clubs in England dwarfing even the European Giants .
