City & FFP | 2020/21 Accounts released | Revenues of £569.8m, £2.4m profit (p 2395)

Just makes it more enjoyable bud. It's one thing that's great about Twitter though, when people try to change their opinions to save face you can just dig up their old shit and retweet it. One of the blues on here did a great job on a few dippers re their changing opinions on Milner.
i very rarely do twitter
don't do facebook
spend too much time on here, i really do need to get out more

Any club, which is sanctioned by UEFA for breach of FFPR, becomes free of these regulations if they meet the UEFA Break-even requirement in subsequent seasons.

So as I posted months ago, we looked clear, as confirmed by Khaldoon, and I assume PSG have not met the requirement.

As you keep saying you pointed this out months ago and it is as clear as day to most people.

What is not clear is where we now stand as far as owner investment is concerned. It seems we are still restricted by the break even rule, or maybe not.

Who knows ?

we're constrained by the same FFP rules, so we have to breakeven and can't just whack inflated sponsorships in.

However, we hit nearly £350m in revenue for 13/14 and seeing as this is the 15/16 season and accounts, we have much more money to play with than we did then.

that's my post with UEFA's relaxation of the settlement restrictions, so for me the only reason why PSG still have restrictions is because they've not met the breakeven requirement, which is stupid really, and their own fault. @cleavers

That is the whole crux of the legal case so they are not really being stupid at all. They are holding it up for what it is : illegal under EU law.

You're not getting it. As far as we are concerned it is restrictions on owner investment that is the most important as our owner happens to have a bottomless pit of money.

Does anyone know the phone number to the palace in abu Dhabi. I want to chat with the sheikh, got some personal questions to ask him regarding parking around the ground without a permit. Just after 1 seems to be the best time to contact him.
Thanks. Luna

The legal case is being brought by the fans and not the club itself so not exactly right. While PSG have made great strides in growing their revenue I think they've found it a lot more difficult than us without our basic advantage of working within the Premier League with it's huge tv revenues. That combined with our head start on them (they didn't have the couple of years of spending without FFP that we had at the beginning) has just led to it being a choice between breaking ffpr again or giving up pretty much any hope of being competitive in Europe imo. They'll still dominate the French league though and have pretty much assured entry into the CL every year though, which we wouldn't have under the same conditions, so they'll catch up, but it will slow them down.
