City & FFP | 2020/21 Accounts released | Revenues of £569.8m, £2.4m profit (p 2395)

Cheers mate, so the total potential saving for next year is £41.1m rather than the £42.3m as listed. That 4.5 year contract seemed to level me.

And this is obviously presuming that the wages are all as reported which they likely aren't going to be but it isn't a bad estimate to suggest that based on selling Dzeko and Jovetic then we'll probably be looking at a yearly book cost that can easily be covered by the TV deal alone with room to spare

Yeah, I suspect the wages of Sterling/De Bruyne might be a little high. We've got very few players earning above £150k, Kompany earns £120k I think. I'd expect the wages to be nearer to £120k than £150k. Sterling was on £30k at Liverpool, and realistically hadn't got too many other options than to join City, so I can't see us offering £50k more than the reported £100k offer Liverpool gave him.

The new TV deal doesn't hit till next year I think...

Any incoming transfer fees go against this years accounts though so the sale of Dzeko alone would bring us pretty much even until the new deal.

500k profit on disposal for Sinclair, £3.5m profit on disposal for Rekik, £1.2 pod for Trippier and I'd guess at around £15m for Dzeko. so maybe a slight profit?

Yep, with Jovetic expected to go too we'll, in accountancy terms, have a profit on 'player trading' as they call it this summer.
I think we'll break even on Jojo. Probably around £15m received tops and then that might be next summer if Inter get their loan and option/obligation.
