It won't work. They might be able to legislate for termination of contract when wages aren't paid but that's about it.

Turkeys voting for christmas. If this were to happen and players only had to give 2 months notice of termination then it would work the other way too. A club would also have the right to terminate a player with notice. No more guaranteed contract.
