City & FFP | 2020/21 Accounts released | Revenues of £569.8m, £2.4m profit (p 2395)

Adding on the £8m (According to Wiki) received for Sancho in 2017 from Dortmund to the £11 from his move to the scum means we got £19m for him overall. Not bad at all.
Rich boy, but, now doomed to failure - at least until he can engineer another move.
What a shame. Never mind.

Re: Man City - the Lisbon Lyons, the Porto Pussycats, the Faro Financial Fairplayers

I'm a professional accountant and I don't normally bother about the financial statements of clubs. There is absolutely no way these should turn a profit last season in "normal circustances".

They pay big wages and spent big money last season and their matchday revenue was insignificant because games were being played behind closed doors. However, common sense doesn't seemingly apply to these oil clubs because it's dodgy and should ordinarily alert regulators.

I'll give their account a read and revert.

We’re fucked. RAWK have an accountant on the case. Lol.
He seems to have a forensic grasp of our finances. I am sure @Prestwich_Blue is shaking in his shoes at the thought of crossing swords with this giant.

Just had a quick look at that thread on RAWK - that individual poster is decent and talks sense - he is however surrounded by utter fuckwits ! What a mysterious world the dippers exist in.....

For some odd reason transfermarkt have Grealish down as £105m when it was £100m.

Transfermarkt uses the euro value of the transfer as its standard.
If the £ has gone down since the transfer, then that euro value buys more £, and transfermarkt reports the current value of the transfer euro value. In this case, it suggests the euro now buys 5% more £ than it did at the time of transfer.

It's why lazy tabloids regularly report higher values of transfers than they were at the time.

So for next year's accounts will we show the Grealish fee covered by the Summer transfers out and the Torres transfer to Barca.

I haven't seen that but on RAWK he is saying our accounts are fair and is getting abuse from the scouse mafia
That was about all he said. He joined in with the consensus that we’re cheats (with absolutely no evidence other than they just know), and the only teams entitled to dominate the league are them and United because they “earned” it. The sad fuckwits even think we’ve got the courts in our pockets. It’s fucking laughable and tragic in equal measure.
