They've humbugged us, and they've caught us pretty flat-footed. I hope I'm wrong and we weren't naive enough to trust them and believe them whilst they've been blowing smoke up our arse for the last year or so.
"Humbugged us"? Is this some sort of North Manchester working-class expression as I'm regrettably unfamiliar with it?

Is anyone surprised? This is a photo of UEFA's licensing Committee

And look who is front left centre, Chairman of the UEFA Licensing Committee - David Gill, former CEO of Manchester United.

Top left is Walter White!

Next to Michael Stipe?

I was leaning towards Moby myself.

You wouldn't leave any of them alone with kids!

Well that's it then, we're done for. Silva, Yaya and Aguero will all be off next year with Robbie Keane, Lee Catermole and Scott Parker all coming in. The sheikh will sell off his toy and Pellegrini will be replaced by Sam Allardyce.

And Dzeko will still be here...

So, all things considered, does this increase or decrease my chances of shagging Natalie Sawyer?
Your chances are lower than they were yesterday.

Re: City & FFP (continued)

We obviously can't say 'fuck off' to UEFA, unfortunately as much as I've personally found it somewhat under whelming, we need the Champions League more than it needs us. Obviously we don't need it for the money, we've got loads of that, but we need it to attract the right players and for the prestige.
So somehow we've got to work out an acceptable solution to this mess and that's probably going to mean accepting something that we all believe is unjust, biting our tongue, and moving on. The big problem we seem to have is lack of support for our cause. We have no allies, PSG appear to think they can rely on Platini to sort them out and the 'big boys' all want to see us hammered. Our own media, with the exception of Martin Samuel, is backing the opposition preferring to report the UEFA propaganda rather than actually act like real journalists and investigate the regulations fully.
If I'm honest, I'm pissed off like I can't begin to describe, albeit not surprised. Let's hope this serves as motivation to to the players tomorrow night and not the opposite.
