Why the fuck is that rag wum Gillespie still posting on here. Clearly trying to take the piss. Fucking rag ****!

Couldn't agree more. It's obvious he's here to wind people up with snide two-word replies.
It so sad when coming on to the opposition's forum is the last crumb of comfort he can squeeze out of ManUre's season.

As for FFP, as said previously, on a point of priciple we have to fight this all the way. We didn't pick this fight, the G14 through UEFA did and if we can't convince the world that debt and not investment is the problem in football, something is very wrong with us.

I have an anger burning deep inside me, but experience has taught me not to let my emotions get the better of me because that's when you lose focus of the goal ahead. So we shouldn't let our anger get the better of us, we should concentrate our efforts on getting even with the G14.

If they want a scrap, we should give them one and all of us have a responsibility to help the club we love. I've invested too much emotion, energy, time and money for someone to come along and do this to us. For years spending copious amounts of money on the best players and highest wages wasn't a problem, but up pop City and it suddenly becomes one.

We've all discussed this to death so I won't go over the points all again as we all know FFP is bullshit and directly aimed at us, but we need a concerted plan and effort from us the fans to help our club. Like I said, if they want war, let's give them war becuase I fo one am more than up for it and I hope the club is too.

Great post mate. I have been flappping about this all week. When I say flapping I mean more of an anger that they are trying to hurt us every which way they can. I posted last week that I would fuck it all off if we didn't fight this and come out successful. How long have we waited for this and now some corrupt cunts want to fine us 50 million for what exactly?
Is FFP gonna change football like the bosman ruling? Fucking hell I hope Dupont wins his case.

it's funny how this thread can make you go between Buzzer and Pigeonho in terms of opinion and emotions about the subject.

Remember when our biggest worry was whether or not Joey Barton would cause another player to threaten to sue the club?

(Sorry, I can't sleep.)

This is the only subject I could physically fight people over from any footballing matters.

I can't stand twats that fight with other people because of football but this is so wrong on many sides that makes my blood hot, I could twat any Rag, Gooner, Dipper, German rag or anyone else over it.ž

And that cnut Gillespie would have one post on this thread if I was moderator.

Re: City & FFP (continued)

I love the go to war mentality let's go and fight regardless of the consequences, regardless of what the end result is. It's so George Dubya and to be fair it's what most people thought in 1914.

You don't fight footballs governing body, all the other clubs, the media etc without everybody losing in the end including us.

UEFA can fight dirty and cause so much damage that wen if we win in the end we will have lost.

Honestly would you today accept the break up of this team, years of chronic publicity (20x worse than today) to end up winning a fine that won't go to city and potentially breaking apart a game and turning football into a European form of gridiron with 20 super teams and no promotion relegation etc

People need to think about the consequences to us and football of going to war with the game and going to war with football as they could be far wider and worse than imagined.

In 1914 people wanted war, a tidy quick victory and 100m people died . A footballing war could have war wider consequences that kill much of what people love in the game and that may be more unpallatable than an immaterial fine and a but if harm to our champs league prospects for one season

Re: City & FFP (continued)

We can't afford to be dancing to their tune every summer. I hope we fight them all the way even if it means losing out in the short term.

We won't have to - I suspect one summer of dancing at most before we are sitting down with a cigar!

We are not being tackled to stop us same as PSG the big clubs can afford us, we are though being made an example of because the G14 cannot afford another dozen city's or PSG's

Sounds good but PB has sounded less convinced since this thread started and that is why we are all flapping!!!
That's not quite right Damo.

We presented our FFP pro-forma to the CFCB and we were obviously way over. So then it went to the Investigatory Chamber and they're supposed to pick the figures apart and apply the pre-06/2010 wages add-back, which should have seen us scrape home. However, it seems they disallowed some revenue that we were originally told would be acceptable. So we failed, contrary to our clear expectation.

At that point a set of sanctions would have been offered in return for a quick settlement, like paying your parking fine early, as someone said. We have been negotiating and have until Friday to agree a satisfactory outcome. That is looking unlikely with a major climb-down from UEFA. if we can't agree, then we will be referred to the higher Adjudicatory Chamber, who will not negotiate but impose a sanction or sanctions. If we don't accept those then we can go to the CAS.

If that's not satisfactory, we can go to law. And we will as I understand it currently.

Sounds like we are giving UEFA more time to consider, rather than the other way around :-)

I've said all along that they will not under any circumstances want this in court. They have got themselves into a huge pickle with needing to appease the G14 by imposing sanctions with real bite. And appeasing Qatar by trying to show they aren't singling them out, especially after the palms that have been greased over the world cup.

But ultimately they NEED us to accept their sanctions, so they will compromise. They have to, because the alternative for them is armageddon that UEFA as a body may not survive and the individuals concerned most certainly would not.
why dont City just do it anyway.?? the sooner these corrupt cunts are outed the better.
