After running it through our server, this is the image Pam was trying to post:

He appears to wearing R2-D2's head as a bangle in that picture.

This was because he forgot to bring his tin foil hat.

I'm wondering if he's Darth Vader - expect he's got C3PO tied up somewhere (if the rumours are true).

Still nothing, no?

Thought not.

Another thought, City could always receive their share of annual TV money up front, like many teams in the Premier League do?

Everton have done this to bail them out of the shit.

We can do it to show enhanced profits a year ahead.

Every 12 months.

As things stand, we will collect £95m if we are champions.

But £50m of that is part of the standard pool.

This was probably to help them out with a cash flow difficulty.

The financial statements have to follow the accruals concept ie the revenue and costs in the reported P&L have to relate to the period to which they are reported

Could anyone tell me why Liverpool was not looked at at all?

Because they were not present in Europe for that monitoring period at all.

But I think, even if they would have been, they would just about made it as they whole losses were cca. 40m / season and some of these figures do not count for FFP.

They would have made it but only after pre-June 2010 wages were taken into account.

But apparently we are in terrible financial difficulty. UEFA is so concerned they want to make sure we dont spend more than we earn!

This was probably to help them out with a cash flow difficulty.

The thing I find incomprehensible about FFPR is that it is intended to prevent ALL clubs from spending beyond their means for the good of the game, so why does it only kick in if you play in European competition? What about clubs spending beyond their means that don't qualify, i.e. Monaco, Liverpool?

All you need to know about FFP is that it is the twisted brain child of an Napolean complexed anglophobe, who has then got a cartel of equally jealousy consumed self protectionists to support him; no matter how illogical and irrational the idea is.
Entirely incorrect. You have it the wrong way around.

It was the product of the old G14 clubs attempting to protect their cartel by preventing any other clubs from investing sufficient to challenge them. Platini is just their tool not the instigator. If it was down to Platini then how come the PL has introduced similar measures?

It is down to the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool, etc. They already saw Chelsea crash the party and later City and they don't want any more following that approach.

Platini is the front.Yes UEFA is corrupt but the cartel are the real power behind the throne. They call the shots. So-called "Financial Fair Play" are their rules, and Platini and UEFA are the puppets.

What a load of bullshit. It's supposed to be that clubs don't spend more then they earn to get into the competition, what's that about now..

UEFA is so fucking corrupt it's shocking.

So basically, billionaire could buy a club in non-league, spend millions on it and bring it to Premier League, and that doesn't count as long as they don't take any Europe posts. Haha.

I cannot for the life of me imagine how this would stand up in court. They think they can do what they want. I sincerely hope the club are setting them straight about this .... and PSG also.
