They'll just hire another corrupt politician without a moral compass to replace him. There's an endless supply of them.

In which case, they need to think carefully. The Sheik is a very rich man. Further accidents can be arranged.
I hear David Gill isn't going out much these days...

Very wise. I believe the sort of chap who could put a piece of lead through one's noggin from a thousand meters are rather rare, and quite expensive. Cheaper than a new centre-back, though :)

I'll do it for 5. You don't mind collateral damage do you? I'm not used to guns. Bound to get him eventually though...

Yeah but if this guy or someone like him turns up to fix his plumbing he might get slightly worried...

And there's always the Russkis, and their penchant for radioactive cocktails.

As long as the collateral damage includes the other corrupt fookers on that panel plus Platini then you deserve the 8k my friend. Will even throw in a broom handle mauser for you to use.

Bit of respect guys, a man has just died and no doubt leaves behind loved ones. Though I doubt they will be reading blue moon's finest.

Anyone seen this? Jean-Luc Dehaene has died of pancreatic cancer - could it be that his illness has contributed to the delay in sorting this out, given that he was pretty much UEFA's main man re FFP?

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.foxnews.com/world/2014/05/15/former-belgian-premier-jean-luc-dehaene-is-dead-at-73-helped-set-up-eu/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.foxnews.com/world/2014/05/15 ... set-up-eu/</a>
Says he died following a fall, not the cancer, so it could have been sudden and contributed yes.

Yep, so he did. Interesting.....
Did he slip like Gerrard?

Re: City & FFP (continued)

I suppose this could be on another thread , but there is some relevance - on talksh*t 1/2 hour ago there were two interesting views .
First , a Leeds fan who just came to the realisation that the PL was formed by the "elite" clubs " to turn more coin" as he put it , and that clubs like his now had no chance of ever winning it , or even competing .
Second , a hilarious rag who reckons that City shouldn't get a share of the new TV money "because a club with as much money as City don't need any more " and that we can easily afford to pay that £50m fine that we're getting !
This is what we're up against folks - I despair sometimes.
