It's better than it looks at first glance. €40m of the fine is conditional as long as we comply with the terms so might only cost us €20m overall. We have to accept a 21 man CL squad for next season but we only used 21 players last season. We have had a wage ceiling imposed but last year's wage bill included around £30m paid to Mancini and his cohorts under the terms of their contract and we're reducing the wage bill anyway. We have to meet a €20m break-even deficit target this year and half that the year after. That shouldn't be a problem either.
Going by soriano's video we'll knock both targets out of the etihad.
Do you read the limited spending as proportional to revenue, or pr bullshit? They didn't publish numbers.

Re: City & FFP (continued)

What the fuck are we doing!!!??? We've agreed to limit our spending even though we plan on breaking even and have agreed not to agree to new sponsorship deals!? What the fucking fuck!?

Does the CL squad still have to include 8 HG players?

Re: City & FFP (continued)

It is an extremely harsh punishment but the club has got this one covered. We just have to win the competition the hard way.

Re: City & FFP (continued)

So when will arsenal/everton/utd/spurs ask uefa to get city thrown out of champions league?

So do 8 of this 21 man squad have to be home grown and how does this affect our transfer spending?
