Hardly mate, who really gives a fuck?

Let's just win the league on Sunday and then roll with it.

Chumps League is a load of bollocks anyway. I want us to fight this shit as, more than anything, they've pissed off Sheikh Mansour.

Aye Sunday must be the focus but i do think it is a big big deal for us all not just the fine but the potential squad restrictions which means potental players coming in will want assurances that they will make the CL squad

But yup deal with it on Monday but winds me up because believe it or not as the mrs will back me up i love this fucking club

Squad restrictions won't be too much of a problem in my opinion. How many players did we even use in Europe last year? I'd be surprised if it was more than 20. And we can just assure players who miss out on the squad they will get more domestic games as a result e.g. say we have to leave out Jovetic then we can just guarantee him that he will start every league game before or after a European game.

The squad restrictions won't be too bad, we'll just have to adjust our summer plans.

People say 50m is a joke to Mansour, but men like that don't just throw around 50m for nothing. That's a huge amount of money for anyone.

The spending cap is big. We've just given them control of how much we can spend. What will we be allowed to spend next season? That's a no from me.

The Guardian is claiming that the take it or leave it proposal from UEFA hasn't differed materially from the initial supposed punishment.

So the claims that they want to negotiate were false, it's an ultimatum.

Said it before and I'll say it again, they want the end of us. They aren't here to see us break even, they want us gone. We can't negotiate with a body that doesn't recognise our right to exist.

We accept this, and next season it will be more. More fines, more reductions, more technicalities for disqualification. If we ever pass, there will be more rules concocted to disqualify us. The EPL FFP will be the same way. All the members ganging up to dock us points, fines, salary caps, etc.

Our executives are fooling themselves if they think UEFA and the PL are negotiating in good faith.

I think that's a record for the words 'expected' and 'reported' in an article. Seems to me like they've just rehashed what they 'reported' on Monday..

Re: City & FFP (continued)

If the punishment of a 21 man squad with 8 homegrown players remains it completely fucks our transfer plans and our next seasons squad too.

Re: City & FFP (continued)

I think City should stand their ground. They say CAS can abitrate if the club challenge the boards harsher punishment, and it can be fast tracked. When does the competition begin again? August? Can they fast track it to that extent, especially in some circumstance that the club attempt to challenge? Banning city in the meantime is surely inviting major legal recourse. We're looking at a scenario where the goal posts are moving constantly and if legal options are ruled out then surely city could attempt to build a groundswell of polical pressure.

I would rather like uefa to take the view that they can hand down a suspended punishment, which goes away once city redouble efforts to produce an ffp result for this season that shows that 20m profit.

All claims and counter claims but no official quotes...

IMO these are press leaks from UEFA trying to flush out a response.

The deadly silence from City is scaring the shit out of them ;)

Thats the thing about ADUG ( we found this out on takeover day)..until they want anyone to know owt,no one knows owt.

Re: City & FFP (continued)

It probably doesn't. Expect a few more young players in the CL games. But our beloved press do get to carry on telling us how disappointing our CL campaigns have been for another year.

Hear Manchester City and UEFA could be much closer to an agreement on ffp than has been portrayed #mcfc

pmsl.

Just shows it's all utter guesswork.

Personally I don't want a compromise to be reached, I want us to go to war.
It turns me on whenever you get bellicose.

I was definitely getting the feeling of déjà vu myself when I read it. Most of the journo's are as much in the know as we are and are just filling column inches with tripe. My heads starting to hurt from all the shit we're getting so, fuck 'em, nice drop of vino this evening and prepare for our date with destiny on Sunday. We must win this title now, it will taste all the sweeter for the Sheik if we do it, as well as pissing Platini off big style.
