bot really bothered by this. big headline. but sounds like it's a genuine rule and we've broken it. then been fined. done and dusted so nothing to see here.

tbf there is no excuse for being late.

if other clubs have done the same i'm sure they'll be done in due course.

i think palace were fined last year. not sure though.

I agree. But surely, we're not the only club guilty of this. If there are more clubs, why have they chosen to fine us first? Why not announce all the clubs that have done this, instead of highlighting just us?

Also, why is this rule worthy of punishment, when other rules aren't punished:

- United v Liverpool postponed because of Glazer protests
- United v Bournemouth postponed after fake bomb found
- Liverpool hack City databases
- United fail UEFA FFP, which is a breach of PL rules

Why are these fines on a two year cycle ?

Why not be fined after the match or at the end of the season ? Why after 2 seasons ?

Can anyone recall any games where the other team and the referee have been waiting around for City to show up?

I presume they’re guilty or they wouldn’t have admitted it. But I can’t recall seeing it noticeably happen.

1 and 2 minutes doesn’t seem a long time. But it is if everyone is just hanging around and I’d have thought it would be pretty noticeable.
