City Football Group | Secure $650m loan facility for infrastructure projects (p 54)

With a dodgy translation via Google Translate.

After the Supervisory Board (RvC) rejected the sale to Karel Vrolijk on 19 February and requested that all other options be explored, we recently conducted an investigation at the request of the shareholders into the initiatives City Football Group and a combination between Global Football Corporation and Karel Vrolijk.

We assessed these parties on the basis of the criteria set by the Supervisory Board, the NOAD Foundation and the KNVB. This includes criteria such as a healthy balance between local involvement and business distance, the football background, football vision and the football plan, financial capacity in the short and long term, maintenance of the golden share, the statutes and the culture charter, leadership, certainty on the area of continuation and thus continuity, the origin of the financial resources, the UBO of the stakeholders and their intentions.

We presented the results of our investigation to the shareholders. On that basis, they have chosen to sell their shares to City Football Group. All other parties that have applied since the start of the sales process have now been informed and thanked for their efforts.

With City Football Group, which already has a long-term collaboration with NAC, an agreement was reached this week subject to approval by the Supervisory Board, NOAD Foundation, the KNVB and the municipality of Breda. With this, the sales process is entering the final phase and the shareholders and City Football Group assume that preparations for the new season can be started in the short term.

Although you are not used to us providing insight into the sales process in this way, we believe we should and can do so now. Until reaching an agreement with City Football Group, we were bound by formal frameworks, including exclusivity. Now that this is no longer the case, we hope with this message to provide more clarity about the exciting sales process so far. This is also the express wish of the shareholders, who have always been looking for a buyer to whom NAC can be transferred in good hands and with confidence. In addition to their own criteria such as price and takeover conditions, this has always been a condition for them.

With sporty greeting, Crossminds

City@Home building by the ground - what’s it actually used for?

I went in there once to pick up some free tickets, I was on a jolly thanks to a work linkup with Umbro so that’s how long ago it was.

At the time there was a small press conference / lecture theatre type thing in there, not dissimilar to what’s in the CFA now.

Not sure if Mancini did his press conferences in there or if they only used it for private /company events or what.

And no idea what it’s used for these days.

Looks like some work on going with Lommel

Went to the Brugge away and Soriano was on our plane to Charleroi.

Had my lad with me who wanted to do the usual in a bar with City fans singing bit so we didnt got to Lommel as I suggested as they were playing that night.

My lad was gutted when he found out Ederson and Jesus were at the Lommel game!

Good we are putting some money in.
