City football shirts everywhere

3 sightings this week here in Sunnyvale: 1) a 7 year old wearing the black and red away shirt from last year at Sunday league matches at our local primary school, 2) a 20-something man wearing last year's home strip on his way to a pick-up match at our local high school, and 3) this year's home Haaland shirt on an 8-year old son of one of my teammates at my league match last night. I used to see maybe 1 other person wearing a City shirt per year or so in these parts.

My wife thinks I am a sad old fkr. 60 years old and I still go into snide kit shops abroad and make sure City shirts are on top of dipper and rag shirts throughout the shop... Sad but true...
Not as sad as me mate, If I see a Rag birthday cake in Tesco's or the like I hide them behind City ones.

Since the rag's have splashed the cash and got two big wins under their belt, shirts are popping up all over the show. Sharp, Vodafone, AIG.

Soon to be thrown back into the bottom of the wardrobe when Arsenal twat them this weekend

Where in the world is Sunnyvale? Is it sunny most of the time?

Been seeing City shirts in Spain more and more over the last few years, in the Alicante/Elche region, but probably mostly Brits abroad. But the Haaland effect is clear: now Haaland knock-off shirts are on prominent display in markets, along with Messi and Mbappe, and you see a lot of non-British kids wearing them.

Biggest surprise for me though was in Vietnam this summer... quite a few locals wearing City shrts, and chanced up on a cafe full of teenagers in Nha Trang who were nearly all wearing City shirts (one PSG, one RM). Very weird!

Seeing it here in Sweden as well. Haaland mostly although we have a rivalry with Norwegians. Wonderful to see.

Maybe an unintended compliment to us , but you can imagine so many rags all over the world doing the same to our merchandise now these days , I hope that never ends .

Love Vietnam, Nha Trang was great, is the sailing club on the seafront still going?
