City friendlies before the Christmas restart

They are warm weather training in Abu Dhabi with 60 minute and 90 minute matches against Al Ain.

The WC players all get a minimum 7 days off following their last WC game.

The players at home will all have had specific fitness and conditioning programmes in addition to normal squad training at CFA.

I hope that they’ve been working on Erlings first touch, close control and tight space mobility, all of which could need improvement.

The dipper night game 3 days afore Xmas is probably the best type of game to return for.
Just checking that the Erling you mentioned isn't the one we signed.

Quite the opposite, everyone else will struggle, but a certain team with the majority of their their squad with alleged breathing difficulties will be dosed up on medicines allowing them to play heavy metal football(at least for the first 20mins of each half)

it's so clear, the Liverpool players are using something to boost their energy levels by the way they are running around for 20/30 minutes then it dramatically drops off then it's sluggish, having asthma and the treatment used does create this effect, But using it long term can be very dangerous because it's a steroids base treatment, all sorts of things start to flag up, maybe this is why Liverpool form dips from season to season when they are off the meds

Give it a rest. An absolutely world class player being coached and improved by the world’s best coach, that’s good enough for me
I'm pleased that you agree with me that he can improve.

It would be useful to know which areas you think are a priority.

That’ll be handy to get them used to playing in Manchester in December.
