City friendlies before the Christmas restart

They are warm weather training in Abu Dhabi with 60 minute and 90 minute matches against Al Ain.

The WC players all get a minimum 7 days off following their last WC game.

The players at home will all have had specific fitness and conditioning programmes in addition to normal squad training at CFA.

I hope that they’ve been working on Erlings first touch, close control and tight space mobility, all of which could need improvement.

The dipper night game 3 days afore Xmas is probably the best type of game to return for.
Erling isn't there ....Pep said have a holiday mate after the friendlies in Norway.

Norway did not qualify, therefore he should be fresh to continue his run of scoring that has seen him net 23 goals this season.
Norway manager Stale Solbakken has explained that Erling Haaland will miss the upcoming game against Republic of Ireland after a decision was made in collaboration with Manchester City.

Looks like Haaland has gone after all

I’ll leave that to Pep, not you, or me, smart arse. I haven’t spotted any, apart from the fact he doesn’t score with every single shot, but I’m not that needy
That was pretty much what I suggested....a specific programme set by Pep & the technical staff.

If you don't think such things happen, even for top players, your wrong....its how top players improve.

Hearts just had a friendly against UD Almeria in Spain that ended up with 60 people on the park throwing haymakers for 15 minutes. Riot cops called in, the whole stramash
Better off having some nice warm weather kickabouts with zero prospect of injuries tbh
