City have a new owner!!!!

Anyone know why they picked the name Newton Investment and Development? Strange name to pic.

Nothing coming up on Google for Newton Investment and Development. Not even on Companies House.
Email the Sheikh or message him on whatsapp or twitter or however people connect these days. He will be chuffed to bits to hear from any blues I'm sure.

They would only show on companies house if they were a UK registered business. Wouldn’t have any businesses on their if they’re registered abroad pal

I guess the point is, we have the resources to restructure in whatever way is required, to avoid falling foul of any new FFP rules more quickly than they can be rewritten.

We're like the borg, man!

That's one of the issues that is confusing me. I cannot believe that the PL will interpret their rules in such a way that mere structural changes make any difference. "Associated" means, in their book, any tenuous link to Abu Dhabi.^

This was done back in July last year so I doubt it's anything to do with the PL's rule changes.

Thanks, a few posters seem to think it was about ffp.
Where do Newton sit in the structure; are they at CFG level or at ADUG level?
