People on the forum really make me laugh!

We say that every storey written in the British media is a load of crap, calling papers names like "The Daily Fail" "The Scum" and "The Manchester Evening Rags", then when someone posts a random forigen website storey, everyone beleives it as gospol.

Same with Arrys comments on Torres. People are saying how would he know (forgetting that Rednapp probably has more agent aquaintances, that he has actual friends)! but then Tolmie, a random internet guy, posts a youtube clip from Back To The Future, and people interpret that to mean "B"uying "T"orres "T"his "F"riday!!

The BTTF thing... people were talking about it on the Quiet Thread before it got shut down, but its not a big deal or a personal attack on you, just an example of the way peoples minds work on here.

I just find it comical that people say what would Redknapp know, or what do the British Press know, when they beleive anything they translate from a forgien newspaper, or some guy on the internet they dont know!

It is for very good reason.

This is not the way I have attempted to pass on onfo in the past.

The flip side of your valid argument, those who offer up all and sundry, arise potentially more suspicion.

As for Harry...that is one thing we can agree on...he knows a lot of people...but in a previous post...I believe his comments are nothing more than the applying of outside pressure.

Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has admitted Mancheter City’s interest in Fernando Torres is concrete.

Redknapp’s Spurs side just edged City out of a place in the Champions League place last season but the former West Ham boss has admitted they have an uphill task to beat the Eastlands club again.

Redknapp told Talksport: “Manchester City could quite easily win the Premier League. If they get the players in now, they've already got the nucleus of a good team.

“They're in for Torres - and if they end up getting him and one or two others then they can do anything.

"It's going to make it even harder to make the top four again next season, that's for definite," he added.
