City 'have made bid for Fernando Torres'

All I can say, without trying to rubbish Ricster or else's info is that Carrington was indeed dead that day.

Mancini was not in, nor any other staff. There was certainly no charm offensive you would expect for such a visit.

There would also be no need whatsoever to show an agent a training facility, in a bid to convince a player of signing.

This would always be a personal opinion for the player.

Spanish reports that particular day also reported a meeting with Silva's father in some capacity in Valencia, allied to some arrangement he has/had as a security consultant within the club.

Fact is, Silva signed, when meeting took place is irrelevant now.

Thats crap fixer. His father and his agents were at Carrington.

Tolmie begs to differ mate...he said he made some enquiries and silvas dad was in a meeting in spain. Apparently his dad was head of security at valencia and is still involved with the club in some capacity. Tolm said carrington was dead on that particular day.
