City Kits - 2026/27

This is one of the best I’ve seen in years and years. My opinion of course but I really love it.

I haven't bought a City kit since 09-10 (see the chip tits and beer belly comment above) though I got Tevez on the back so an iffy call by me . . . but that bee kit would break my streak. That's art right there IMO.

Still my favourite away kit over the last 20 years or so. Well I also like the black and grey stripes too but I love this one. City won the League under Pellegrini in this shirt; Everton away anybody? And of course it's similar to the proposed third kit for 26/27. This jersey has usually brought me (and City) luck. I wore it when I met SWP in Boston in 2022 and Andy Morrison in Manchester in 2023. Won quite a lot those years as I recall... Anyway, I'll be wearing it on Saturday, if I can squeeze into it..you may be damn sure that I will...:)

Seems to be fashionable these days for clubs to revert back to retro badges on 2nd and 3rd kits.

I’d love to see us have one of the older versions of the current one. In fact we should just return to the one in the middle there anyway in my opinion but I do like the one on the left too.

I can see what they are trying to do. But the effect looks rather insipid. Personally, I prefer some navy on the kit to make the look tougher (think the early 90s kits, David White etc.), but I'm probably in the minority.

Its not the worst kit in the world its just not a Manchester City home kit. DH Gate will not be receiving my son's money this year. Another bloody St Andrews golf gift set of tees and shit logo ball for me on my birthday.

Yeah, the middle badge represents 'proper' City, for me anyway. I suppose the current one is close enough as a modern update. Too fussy though.

On the subject of the “fade to baby blue” shorts and socks, I’m going to put it out there that it is going to look absolutely brilliant on the team, and beyond that, only full kit wankers need worry!

The kids will love it. Mums, who do most of the washing, will love it and the team will look great in it, so…

It's too dark for me, but I would like us to revert to the darker sky blue tone of the 70s to mid 80s kits. The 60s kits were stronger too. Other than the laser blue era the tone of blue has become too pale over the last 30 years think.
