So according to sibsn we are going into a possible extension of a couple of more weeks whilst the panel decides what as been put to them. That to me say’s we are winning this fiasco and no media leaks reinforces this. Perhaps I’ve got my blue tinted glasses on but fuck me when we win this I will be driving up and down the La Manga strip with my scarf and flags flying.

The interesting question is why the PL are pushing this. There is no upside to acting unilaterally and there is no problem waiting a few more weeks. But there is a potentially damaging downside: that the PL get their vote carried and then have to nullify it if the tribunal comes down on City's side.

If I was being cynical and, granted, not just a little judgemental, I would say just pushing forward brazenly and then dealing with the consequences later seems to me to be an American trait rather than a British one, so I can't help thinking the American-owned clubs are still calling the shots here for some reason.

In any case, it's another poor decision by the PL imho.

I know you don't need me to tell you this as you know that it's not the case that we're fighting against 19 clubs. About half a dozen are in our corner and possibly more now as it starts to dawn on some of the cuckold clubs that voting in favour of updated rules that might still be unlawful could result in more legal action and more legal costs to spread around. The other clubs who will vote with us don't really need to say anything at this stage - their vote will be enough. In any case, City brought this action in the first place so we absolutely should be the ones taking the lead on it. The fact that we keep writing letters to the other 19 clubs shows that we're doing the Premier League's job for them and it must piss off the red shirt cartel cunts (and Spurs) no end that we and our lawyers know our onions, whereas they and that dickhead Masters haven't got a fucking clue!
