City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

Well done John Benson. I walked out before an interview once after they kept me waiting for almost an hour without even an offer of a cup of tea. I just decided I didn't want to work for such an organisation and fortunately I had the choice because I was already in a job somewhere else.
What a lot of people don't realise is that it's a two way process, you're interviewing them just as much.

The Etihad sponsor isn't associated so it also proves that none associated is still get looked at for fair value! You read or see in the media that we win the case we could have a sponsor that could give us 500m a season!
It hasn't previously been regarded as 'related', but isn't the concern from City that it now potentially becomes 'associated', under the amendment...?

Day three of my pursuit to fight back on Facebook. Two main things.
Dipper boy has not come back since I outed him on “all the serious charges were time barred.”
But this one is potentially my all time favourite.

“City’s chairman already owns one country and now he’s trying to take over the UK”
In fairness I did used to spray paint on walls during 60's and 70's "CITY RULE OK"

What does he mean by Abu Dhabi's charmless reign? It doesn't make any sense given that City are owned by Sheikh Mansour (75pc) and US investors Silver Lake (25pc). Is he suggesting that all of Abu Dhabi is charmless, the entire population, every single person. Why would he say something like that? Is it because, as Alf Garnett used to say: "They are all the same aren't they"?

He is clearly is using this approach knowing that it will frustrate/ anger City supporters whilst expressly appealing to the braindeads in the redshirt ranks.

Charmless - maybe in his opinion, but far more annoying is the fact that City are enjoying an excellent period of success on the pitch and in their earnings - the two things which our bitter rivals crave the most.

Herbert is just another jounalist whore in amongst the many less talented, who is being used in the collective attack upon the club, so fuck him, safe in the knowledge that he is hurting .

Did I read somewhere that PL APT rules also apply to transfers ? such that City couldn’t buy on the cheap from another CFG team and also couldn’t sell on an inflated value to another CFG team, with the onus being on City to prove the values are appropriate ? and if the PL decided the values were not correct they could adjust what City are allowed to spend ?
This is what makes me laugh with these rules, lets say Girona were in the shit in Spain with FFP and needed to raise 35 million, assume we want to buy a player that they value at 50 million but our own PSR rules stop us from doing so. Why could a 35 million deal be agreed as it suits both parties. They would sooner see Girona fail FFP than allow the deal to go through.

oh ffs @bobbowenquiff - why would they want to rely upon facts before they publish their bitter attacks ? The truth doesn't pay their bills.

So according to the Mail, Aston Villa are now going to sue the Premier League.
This will construed as City opening the floodgates of legal cases against the Premier League ? Villa will just be seen as "copycats".
The Premier League will no doubt play the poor victim against the evil MCFC empire.
Think City's case against the PL has already been portrayed as the reason they cannot now afford to give financial aid to the EFL clubs ?
The media agenda against City just seems to be continuously moving.
Think we now need to start sueing media outlets as it is becoming a non-stop barrage of claims against the club's financial dealings...

What's stupid about the PSR rules is that Villa, via their participation in the CL, will earn significantly more revenue, probably over 25% more than the £218m they reported in 2022/23. Yet they're not allowed to spend that money because of their cumulative losses for the previous 3 years.

It's like winning the lottery or getting a decent inheritance, then being told you can't spend it because you had an overdraft 2 years ago.
