City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

Fair enough. Just being realistic, I guess. We're never going to get back to a point where an owner can theoretically splurge billions on a club every year while everyone else is left scrambling behind.
Scruffy Jim has done that.
Yet the rags are the ones left "scrambling behind."....

The muted club world cup has two English clubs invited, us and Chelsea, now that really is boiling piss for the two red shirted clubs.

It won't be missing any fucking stardust because it doesn't feature teams that were too shit to qualify.

Restricting investment by clubs must surely mean that the PL have no interest in having a representing club win the CL!?They must just be as happy as the f’kin media to watch Real Madrid win the thing another 6/7 times, over the next decade!…Where the fuck are their heads at?!

They aren’t arsed about English teams being successful in Europe, they only care about their cash cow of tv money coming in world wide. They won’t reduce the size of the league as it’s less games to show and sell and they sure as hell don’t help top teams out with scheduling during the knock out stages as they are normally right in the middle of chasing the Premier League title. Meaning they will be playing Sunday with less rest than the likes of what Madrid or Barcelona get.

The puppet Masters should be fucking ashamed of himself, Everton and Forest escaped relegation by the skin of their teeth season just gone, points deducted through the disgusting rules and regulations that he endorsed, almost nearly finished Everton as a football club, Forest another club , wanting to invest in themselves to climb the PL ladder. All we have heard off the fans of both clubs "what about City?" If the penny hasn't dropped for both of those clubs then it never will. The January transfer window has become largely a non event, clubs looking over there shoulders with an eye on June 30th , clubs shitting themselves , selling players below market value to stay on the right side of sanctions.
Apparently a pet food manufacturer has pulled out of a lucrative deal with the rags.
The sponsor felt that their brand would be damaged if they went through with the deal.
The WINALOT board refused to confirm or deny the story.....

I find it hard to believe that fans on a City forum can see the medium and long-term problems for these mid and lower-table clubs, but they can't see it for themselves. Blinded by the light, or blinded by the red shite?
Living in Spain I meet fans of all clubs not only English the support of the foreign clubs could not give a shit even RM fans say City play the most beautiful football.
As for English fans I tell them with what is happening with the PL they can never hope or dream to have what happen to City it makes them think

You’re right, totally theoretical, never happened. A point totally imagined up to be alarmist and rush through crazy rules that harm the game, jobs, businesses and protect a few billionaire yanks.

They work their own rules out as they go along and still fail to qualify so now want it scrapped ( or delayed toll they do qualify )

Can't remember where I've come across that behaviour before
