City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

Nothing leaking out about this?

I thought at least one of the pricks from the media might have thrown another made up headline about it out there but nothing!

I'm thinking along the lines of no news is good news or maybe they are still reaching their verdict.

It's very quiet out there though.
Manchester City have taken legal action against the Premier League over new rules, introduced in December 2021 and revised in January 2024, governing "associated party transactions" (APTs). An arbitration tribunal will hear the case on June 10, and a decision is expected within two weeks of that date

I was talking to a rag at a do I attended on Saturday night. I didn't know him as he was a friend of a friend

He said he thinks City will be found innocent as they'll never prove the accusations, that it's a joke the PL are pursuing it and in his opinion all City have done is spent their own money to make us winners and to change the whole of East Manchester for the better and it's scandalous that the PL think anything is wrong with that

I nearly had to go and wash out my ears as I thought I must have mis-heard him
Obviously he wasn’t a real Rag. My niece’s partner, who is a real Rag, says we are guilty because he heard it on Sky Sports. When I asked him to explain the charges to me he couldn’t and just said we are cheats ;)

Yeah but when was that leaked.
We are long overdue another leak.
All we’ve had are diversionary headline tactics though.

Makes you wonder.

So, yesterday then? No leaks today?

You say he is a real rag, for that reason I can fully understand why he thinks like that. In our dark days I would not give one ounce of credit to the rag scum. They only won everything because they were corrupt cheats. I had no evidence whatsoever to back up my opinion but bollocks, I knew and that's all that mattered.

Would it be remiss of me to speculate that a lack of news on this particular case suggests we might have triumphed?
Conversely, because they have to give proper reasons to have found us guilty perhaps they need this time to conjure up legal speak that even hints of proof of a guilty verdict.
