City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

The Guardian paid for an Opinion Piece not so long ago in which some weirdo argued the Eastlands regeneration was a complete sham and City were exploiting GMC. There are no depths the cartel & their anti-arab media allies will not plumb to try to destroy us.
EDIT - here it us

EDIT - here it us
One of the worst pieces ever written about City based on an entirely false claim that the site of our stadium had any value. It cost multiple millions to make the heavily polluted district safe for buildings. East Manchester has been transformed by Sheikh Mansour and it has been a huge success for the council.

I remember the report from Sheffield University. It seems to be the place United fans go when they want to get "intellectual" on City but can't get into a real university.

I wonder if it would have merited any consideration at all if the constant references to AD were removed and it was just considered on a purely financial basis. Still seems like a pretty good partnership in view of the options at the time.

As for Chakraborrty, the reason he was an "independent advisor" on the report is pretty clear. For exposure. A so-called academic piece written for exposure can be questioned on so many levels. Nice Bengal reference, though, to induce hand-wringing about the Empire in true Guardian style. Didn't work. My hands are still unwrung two years later.

Maybe it was a question of trust and promise. Both important in Asian business as in the Middle East. Iirc, CMC were pretty much required to disinvest from City when the government changed tack to not investing in foreign sports, but I do remember Xi visiting the Etihad. Maybe they got an exemption for a small shareholding as a sign of continued cooperation .....?
Surely it won't be stopping Sheikh M and for that matter Mr K with his AD hat on investing in China.

In the Queens lifetime horses she owned won over 1600 races with a lot of these horses gifted to her. If you are correct you should be able to find articles describing them as state owned.
The article we are debating did not refer to us as state owned

How true that is.
It took over a year to remove carcinogenic chemicals that polluted the former Clayton Aniline.
Other chemical plants and engineering works that made or used chemical pollutants needed treatments before conversion to current useage.

They got a £500,000 grant to write this piece of anti-arab propaganda - no surprise when you look at the principal authors

Here's their latest attack on the UAE
