It's been a long time for the board fighting the sustained attack on City and for a lot of us it has been compulsive reading on here with some very insightful posts. My opinion is that the board have treaded lightly on this constant attack on the club. But beneath the velvet glove is something more solid and this is what Khaldoon hinted at, in my opinion. I also believe they have played by the book, legally and regulation wise. They identified the people targeting the club who were involved with the PL and UEFA and probably the PL people at UEFA were the ones pushing UEFA along the road to charge City. The board probably knew when they had finished at CAS the next attack would be from the PL and they were right if they thought that. The people running City are no mugs and as long ago as the first UEFA fine they knew what would happen and this is where Mr Nice Guy Khaldoon let them know the velvet glove could be taken off by saying he is prepared to spend millions on lawyers to defend future attacks on the club not just by UEFA but anyone. The gloves are now, seemingly off. As we are both singing from the same book, it seems we just interpret a small part of the information we read differently.
Come on City.
