We need all clubs to leave the premier league and start afresh with rules that are black and white and for clubs and fans with no room for ways of getting around the rules and all clubs being transparent in their financial records.
The PL (and UEFA) run both the sporting side of their competitions and the regulatory side. That's how you get self-interest triumphing over integrity and accountability. Both organisations need effective and independent regulation.Indeed,I read that bit, makes the 115 an absolute farce but we know what it’s really all about..edit surely City should be questioning this and using it if the unthinkable we are found on some charges which may be interpreted as loopholes..
In other words everything will just continue as it is,with certain teams getting preferential treatment to circumvent the rules, while City are continually accused/investigated for supposedly breaking or circumventing said rules..The PL (and UEFA) run both the sporting side of their competitions and the regulatory side. The proposed Football Independent Regulator sadly doesn't appear to meet the 'effective' part of that.
Probably, yes. The Independent Regulator should be allowed to set the financial framework without any input from the clubs or PL. Anything other than that is a fudge. In other words everything will just continue as it is,with certain teams getting preferential treatment to circumvent the rules, while City are continually accused/investigated for supposedly breaking or circumventing said rules..
A thoroughly deserved Club World Cup winner.Chelsea could reportedly lose around £300m and remain compliant with Premier League regulations.
This follows the sale of their women's team to parent company BlueCo for £198.7m, with the change of ownership confirmed just two days before the deadline to register finances for the 2023-24 season.
The Premier League's 20 clubs opted not to close a loophole allowing teams to generate income by selling assets to sister companies, with the Blues already registering the sale of two hotels to an affiliate company for £76.5m.

That is wishful thinkingWe need all clubs to leave the premier league and start afresh with rules that are black and white and for clubs and fans with no room for ways of getting around the rules and all clubs being transparent in their financial records.
That is an understatement. That is wishful thinking
and once you've done that you can show the audience how to become a gynaecologist, learn how to play the flute, how to split an atom, how to construct a box girder bridge, how to irrigate the Sahara Desert and make vast new areas of land cultivatable. We need all clubs to leave the premier league and start afresh with rules that are black and white and for clubs and fans with no room for ways of getting around the rules and all clubs being transparent in their financial records.
I don’t think getting Russia and China to work more collaboratively is a very good idea.and finally show how black and white people can live together in peace and harmony, and how to reconcile the Russians and the Chinese.
What a great idea, unfortunately it would mean we would dominate even more.We need all clubs to leave the premier league and start afresh with rules that are black and white and for clubs and fans with no room for ways of getting around the rules and all clubs being transparent in their financial records.
Selling any hotel in London top area you get probably 8/10 times more so why isn’t that fair value if this got voted on to keep these rules where you can sell any assets to yourself! Surprised they haven’t sold there youth And training pitches to themselves for 500mChelsea pulling every trick in the book player wages going sky high which is what sustainability aimed itself at. The fukin prem are a joke Masters is a joke and The Cartell jog on .... have they dropped the City charges as a way of keeping the peace I wonder? Just as well we haven't sold our ladies team to ourselves yet or the odd hotel so we can splurge whenever we need to in the future....Directors loans...don't get me started it makes a circle look straight.
Where there are financial rules there will always be creative people to find loopholes. We need all clubs to leave the premier league and start afresh with rules that are black and white and for clubs and fans with no room for ways of getting around the rules and all clubs being transparent in their financial records.

One they don’t worry about it two they probably got a cunning plan to sell something to themselves three worse comes to the worse they’ll take the premier to court with top lawyers to find any tiny loop hole that will get them off! That’s how Americans work think! Our owner does everything differently because how that part of the world work the long long game..I like the different approach Chelsea have to City to sponsorship. Where as City stand accused of inflating their shirt deal and spending money, Chelsea simply don’t have one and spend money. How does that work?
Agreed Such thinking gave rise to the EPL in the first place ffsI don’t think getting Russia and China to work more collaboratively is a very good idea.
Lost track of this matter. Has the full result been issued yet? Other than owner loans having to incur interest what are we waiting to hear about?
