City launch legal action against the Premier League

The red cartel plus spurs (ha ha!!) are trying to restrict all investment / trading/ enterprise by any club as they didn’t think of it first.
When the light goes on it appears they start to try and create a route around what they introduced in the first place.
Masters is obviously tongue tied and twisted.. and they all wonder why successful clubs question their motives and new rules…
It’s fucked.
Nail on head

If it had gone against us we'd know by now IMHO
Following the tribunal the judges will then take some while to make their decision they then document their findings with reasoning which, will be given to both parties, its up to them to agree if they make it public

I thought Stefan bad said the case would be over after a week if we lost as the second week would be to determine the level of damages.

It may have settled for all we know.

I would hope that the verdict is made public and the reasoning behind it, we the paying public definitely have an interest in what's going on seeing it's us that pay for the sport.

Think it will only become public if it’s on the agenda at a meeting of Premier League clubs and the amendment to any rule changes.

Are Villa still considering challenging the whole basis of the FFP/PSR regulations in the courts? They, in common with other PL clubs, would have little difficulty in demonstrating that FFP had no connection with "fair play" and that PSR had little to do with either profit or sustainability. If Villa are sanctioned they could show that only one PL club made a profit last year while Villa's "overspending" actually contributed to making them more profitable and more sustainable because they qualified for the CL and thus increased their revenue, certainly for next year and possibly/probably for years to come. If they had an effect the PSR rules inhibited Villa's progress both financially and as a football club succeeding on the pitch. This at a time where clubs carrying large debts need do nothing to improve their P&S. Thus, the PL is not a modern governing body but an excellent example of a progress resistant, medieval guild.
