City move for Milner...

Lets be honest Sky have said so far about City since the season ended Boateng will sign for City by Saturday gone it has gone quiet over that transfer is it on or off or was it just Sky talking bullshit. The same about Milner will either of these transfers happen is what I am thinking. It is hardly professional for City to leak any of the deals before it happens so is it the other clubs who are using City and saying releasing City put in a bid for Boteng and Milner of such and such to either fend off other teams or to get the best value for them. Who is to say that we have bided for either player?
 
Not convinced we'll get him but if we do I reckon he'll cost around as much as Robinho, which would be a bit disturbing. That said he is an excellent player who plays incredibly well in loads of positions so would be more than useful. As long as we sign a genuinely creative midfielder as well, then I'd be delighted to see him at City.
 
I am surprised we are going for him to be honest we need a younger Vieria type player who would boss the midfield something which is lacking in the team with Barry and De Jong not doing it in the bigger games.

I'd rather lose Ashley Young, but if we did lose Milner to Man City, they do have some players i'd like to maybe involve in a swap:

Hart
Richards
Onuoha
Ireland
SWP
Bellamy
RSC

15m (to spend on a striker) + Richards + Ireland and I'd be happy enough
