Peter Swales only had the club's interests at heart

Franny Lee did a good job as chairman

Barry Conlon only played for city due to Jimmy Saville fixing it.

The worst insult I've ever had :)

It's totally bizarre to me that you've posted that. The first time he came on the field my Dad said to me "Has Jimmy Saville fixed it for him to play?" and from then onwards he always called him "Jim'll Fix It".

Unless you're my Dad of course ;-)

17 year old giggs did score on his debut against us

Not in a million years, anyone who was there would know that he crossed the ball but it was deflected in off Colin Hendry, only the rag media thought that Wilson scored.

City won the 1967-68 League Championship with a 4-3 win at Newcastle.

United lost at home to Sunderland so City would have won the title on goal average even if they had been thumped at Newcastle.
