As others have said after years of slagging off rags, scousers and arse every week and no City players in the England team always found it slightly hypocritical.

I can honestly say that even though I was born in Manchester in 71 and have supported City pretty much since then I have never supported England at all. You can't have enough love for 2 teams in my opinion plus I hate all the media bullshit that goes with the national team and how everything revolved around firstly Robson, then Gascoigne, then Beckham and now Rooney. If there was 11 city players representing England it wouldn't change me.

when i try and support england, it feels like im supporting the fucking rags with all the bollocks that goes with it, hideously cringeworthy chants like "rooonnnneyyy rooonnneyyyy" - give me a fucking break.

ITVs coverage does my fucking nut in aswell, they big up everything england do like they do with the rags.

i never get the reason that people are proud to come from a certain country. for me its just a big rock in the ocean. as long as i have a decent standard of life and a good time i would happily come from anywhere.

this country is full of twats and alot of them are the ones following england who go on about how they can't fly england flags because of immigrants, or write all over facebook about england this england that.

Only City. Makes me laugh living in Ireland and they do not understand I do not give a fly about England team. Not watched them live for about 25 years. If in good health will not watch for the next.
