City Player Of The Season so far

KDB and D.Silva should jointly get the prize, it is these players more than any other that have made us favourites for the Premier League and have helped us progress into the Champions League with ease. However honourable mentions should go to Aguero (for all the goals and for positively dealing with the internal competition from Jesus), Sterling (for the massive improvement in his performance this season and more importantly for helping us win games when we have struggled as a team), Sane (for reaching his potential), Jesus (for reducing our over-reliance on Aguero and giving us an attacking advantage over other teams, I mean how many of our rivals can boast 2 quality strikers?), Fernandinho (for becoming the most crucial player in our midfield and that its saying something considering the performances of KDB and Silva), Stones (for turning it around and no longer be the laughing stock our defensive), Walker (for all that he cost, he was the best defensive player purchase we have ever done as a club and he has shown it game after game) and Ederson (for just being a decent goalkeeper after the issues we have had in that position, not bad for someone who is going though their first season in the league) while Bravo and Delph should be serious contenders for the "the most surprisingly good player" for this club, if they ever decide to do one of course...
I remember Gary Neville saying that David is the best player in the Prem. That comment is still true - in fact even more so. When David doesn't play it's very noticeable - albeit that Kevin steps up in his absence. He's more consistent than Hazard and co (no going missing for a year). Allows Kevin to do his stuff. So good that he's taken for granted by the media. His low profile and non-membership of any Prem cliques is probably the reason why his monumental contribution since he joined us hasn't been properly recognised. Fernandinho is never recognised for similar reasons. Or is it because everyone hates us - jealousy ?

It’s close but the ginger prince for me. Merlin would be leading but due to his unfortunate circumstances and missing games then kev has stepped up big time!

KDB
Otamendi
Ederson
Delph

Kev has been our stand out this season, Ota, Ederson & Delph have stepped up and earned recognition. That’s not to say all the others could, quite easily, be on anyone’s list !

This for me too, Dave is not as flashy as KDB but I think he has been instrumental this season

So many great performances by so many great players this season so far... but I think KDB and/or Ederson edge it for me

Sort of, he was gash at both Newcastle and Palace. Although one of the greatest individual performances I’ve ever seen against Spurs

Sterlin won us many points. Without Dave we look less solid. Kev can really dominate games .... im not gonna choose but for me al three.

1.De Bruyne
2.Sterling
3.D Silva
4.Fernandinho
5.Ederson

Most improved player of the season - Otamendi, with Delph a close second.

I think it is his low profile more than anything else that explains why the media have (although this has started to change of late) largely underated D.Silva during his time at City.

Fernandinho is never recognised for similar reasons.

To be fair, it has only been till recently that Fernandinho has become such an important player for this club. Likewise his profile has been overshadowed by the likes of Toure, KDB, D.Silva, Aguero and others as well.
