City players - Counties of England

Tony Book from Devon. Or was it Somerset? Have City ever had a Cornishman play for them?
But not many bother about counties today. Traveling round the country back before the motorways you got signs by the roadside saying " entering Worcestershire" or whatever but they're in the past now.
Just seen this one the other day.welcome to the kingdom of Fife.I've no idea who their king is.even tried Google.

Derek Parlane - Dunbartonshire
Jim Tolmie - Lanarkshire
Colin Hendry - Morayshire
Mark & Lard -Shirehorses

What? Londonderry not in London?

There's no such place as Co. Londonderry, though.
Up until it was recently (and not without controversy) changed there used to be a Londonderry City but that was situated in Co. Derry.

The city is now also called, Derry (that is providing the change actually went ahead. I'm sure one of our Norn Ironers will look it up put me right).
From the outside, looking in (and no offence whatsoever intended) they do seem to be overly precious about names and symbols, up there. I suppose they cherish such things because they (both sides) feel they are under threat of being taken away.

Anyway, Back on topic:
James Milner, th' people's Republic o' Yaaawkshah.
