Gerry Gow...looked like Freddy Boswell and should have been in the sack with Lilo Lil...thought he looked like hed been dragged in off the street.
But was bloody good in our midfield and one of the massive trio who turned our season round in 1980-81

His hard man reputation and ferocious tackling overshadowed his skill in the eyes of too many. We got him towards the end of his career unfortunately as I'd have loved to have had him at the club in his prime.

From all your years watching city, what player surprised you the most with an ability you just did/didn't think they would have.

Like a small, slim and athletic player being slower than a moving bus? Maybe an 5'5 foot striker who was surprisingly good in the air?

I will start us off with Antoine Sibierski - now he was good with his feet for a big man!
