Yes, it's cheesy as heck, but you know what, life's too short, and we're damn lucky to have a club that still bothers to agree to do this sort of stuff. It's quirky, it made me smile.

Hell, some would probably say that "cheesy" is carrying inflatable bananas and singing songs like "we are the invisible men", but I wouldn't listen to those naysayers either.

if we're not going to the win the league every year then we might as well try and have a bit of fun, even if that includes poking fun at ourselves.

I would have preferred four station announcers that more accurately reflected our colourful past:

Alex Williams, Neil McNab, Steve Lomas and Richard Dunne.

All played a pivotal role in each of our most recent relegations from the top flight. That would have been more of a talking point than these anodyne mercenaries that don't get what this club is really about.
