Players have good games and players have bad games. It happens to them all. But there are players who manage to keep a high level of performance week in, week out, and these are a real asset to any team.

In the current team I'll nominate Clichy and Barry as the two players who have the fewest "bad games".

In the past I remember David James being outstanding every single week. Kevin Horlock's another who rarely had a dip in form.

Who do you nominate as the "never had a bad game" Gold Medal Winner?

Joe Hart for me, he makes one or two bad calls but generally higher than average.

One or two mistakes when in net usually means a bad game.

When I saw the title Horlock immediately sprang to mind. From the same era, Wiekens was also very reliable.
