City Players who "never had a bad game"

Ian Brightwell, with one exception, Brighton away.

We got beat 4 -2 (maybe 4-3) can't remember exactly it was back in the 80's after all. Bob scored an own goal and then gave away a penalty. The penalty was saved (Tony Coton?) but had to be retaken because Bob had encrouched in the box. Second time around Brighton scored.

Brightwell remains one of my favourite players. Always gave 100% and never (very rarely) put a foot wrong, despite being asked to play in some many different positions.

I was behind the goal at the swamp that day when he "just wellied" it.

Great memories.
