I hope La Liga and Barcelona tell everyone at Girona to go fcuk themselves.
There was an element of tongue in cheek in what I said my man. It's never gonna happen.
It is very unpalatable but you look at it purely from a business sense, you would be delighted with this..........Of course they won’t be against it but to say city are pushing for it is wrong for me.
Think La Liga and Barcelona are all behind it, Girona have just put their hands up to give it go. It was always intended to be used for a smaller teams home game against one of the bigger teams.I hope La Liga and Barcelona tell everyone at Girona to go fcuk themselves.
La Liga are doing this because they are falling behind the Premier League and are looking at using this as a way of pushing the brand to catch up with the Premier League. Not saying Pl wouldn't look at it but there isn't the same urgency the Spanish, French and Italian leagues feel under to compete with our league.I fear this will happen at City within the next 5 years...would the true fans protest, boycott?
Can picture Etihad or Thomas Cook flying 3k fans to Abu Dubai (ballot) for free and most accepting it :/.
The NFL have started doing it with American Football in London for commercial reasons so i say the CFG are testing the waters with Girona. Spanish football is full of corruption and backhanders.
