CITY: SHOWSEC, Atmosphere, & Blatant Bullying.

I'm new to this forum I've watched my beloved city since i was 6 I'm now 56 the reason I've joined is at the arsenal game I stood up in the southstand level 3 block 315 and was ejected for showing my frustration at us going 1-0 down I wasn't just escorted out I was taken in to a room had my picture taken all my details taken and my season ticket 4 stewards + 2 police officers to take me out the police were great and one said i don't know what's going on this is crazy . Since then I've had a email off City saying i could serve 1 or more games ban that was on the 24 Dec I replied straight away I'm still waiting I missed Burnley but managed to watch the game in a pub I really now think the clubdont give a s**tabout the loyal fans this could be my last season
I think that is disgusting mate. Initially when you said 'showing my frustration', I thought you must have absolutely gone off on one. However, after seeing blue b4 's comment I reckon that could have been me or 3 or 4 others nearby on Monday taken out for a photo shoot!

315 is an accident waiting to happen.
At the Burnley game one lad on our row was thrown out for refusing to sit down. 5 showsec monkeys and 2 police required.
Another old guy across the aisle was a marked man after he told one of the showsec bullies where to go.
They sent a showsec kid to slyly take his seat number before returning in force (with police) to eject him. fortunately he moved away and someone else sat in his seat
so when they came back they looked like the muppets they are.
I asked the kid with the earpiece who was on the other end and he said the stadium safety officer.
Now i'm not being funny but a small group stood up is NOT a safety issue (after all there are 1500 away fans all stood up so surely that would be a major safety issue)
I am so fed up of these bullies week in week out picking on mainly older guys.
I told the lad with the earpiece to tell the 'safety officer' on the other end that HE was the one ruining my match day experience not anyone stood up near me.
It will only take one incident where these muppets are picking on somebody and for City to concede a goal and all hell will break loose.
Then City will have a real 'Safety Issue' on their hands.
City Safety Officers, Showsec Bullies get a grip before something serious happens and you really regret all this shit!

Are you taking the piss?

I've been very active in the OSC and mark my words - fuck all gets done as they don't wish to rock the boat for the ticket privileges.

The club has a set agenda and this is not being reversed any time soon.
This is plain and simple for me - "get the longstanding season ticket holders out and "we" can then maximise daytripper ticket sales as we'll have more seats to sell on the day with long serving blues disillusioned and pissed off"

Win win for the Catalunian Capitalist Twats at the top

I would never have believed this until I had a run in with a showered moron outside the turnstiles before the Chelsea game. I fit the criteria, older bloke on his own, long standing fan. It is time to rally into action Blues!

I must be about 10 rows back from you pal, saw it all happening again and totally agree it will only take 1 spark before it ends up going off properly up there.

Totally detracts from this wonderful 'matchday experience' the club keep banging on about when you end up getting distracted watching these monkeys for 10 minutes rather than watching the match!!

Did these 2 pals meet at a mensa meeting?
Thats really bad. All i would say is that im not sure what being a loyal fan has to do with it?
well everything really there the fans that go week in week out there the ones that sing and shout There the ones that create the atmosphere not the tourist not the glory hunter ,people that have followed City , not because we won the league or were in Europe and these are the fans that are the target why because they love Man City there passionate about football & the club, if it isn't loyalty then I'll go and watch a play at the royal exchange no one screams and shouts they sit there and clap

I'm in 115, the 'Singing Stand' so was surprised that one of our friends were singled out for singing inappropriate songs in the Concourse at the Arsenal match, by one of the officials. Apparently a lady and her son complained about the sexist nature of the song. Why, when there were a whole concourse of City fans singing, was one guy singled out and had his season card taken off him for the 2nd half. The lady official, seemingly in charge of 115 really does not seem to enjoy her job, and whilst I appreciate control has to be taken in certain situations, I would like to ask how when all the Celtic fans were in our stand, and all the German fans, no action was taken by her, yet a 50 + male was targeted on the complaint of one person. I would have suggested that the original complainee should probably be advised to move seats to the family stand if she objects to the content of the songs. And just for the record, I am female!

Its a fucking joke mate, tell you what is a safety issue , its those double doors you go through when exiting from 314/315 near the bar, its always a crush at full time.

The club needs to wake up in regard to the fans enjoyment.
