It says something about Mr Eriksson in the article there, but I dont speak spanish.
Dont tell me he did the freaky with her?!
Even though Im gutted and sort of pukish, the mans a legend if so!

It is not Spanish, it´s portuguese.

Just talk about SGE future at the time. If he would continue as Man City manager or would go to Benfica. And they wondered if Natalie want him to stay or not.

And, by the way, a brazilian point of view: Natalie doesn´t have a big butt, it is too small.....

Good tramp stamp though.

Just wish I was in the position to be able to confirm whether she's gone for "proelia" or "praelia"....

;-)

So where is the best place for a pre-match pint? This'll be the first Monday night game i've been to - i usually go to Mary D's for Saturday games, but a change might be nice.

I'm stopping in town, so i'll be walking up.

Cheers

She's overrated massively. Too many pairs of blue goggles.
And whilst I've not experienced it and have no intention of doing, I'm more than confident a packed, loud, sweaty and boisterous Sherwood full of blokes chatting shit pisses all over 'the matchday experience'. Sorry, not my cup of cha.

Yes, but we don't play at Maine Road anymore so The Sherwood is out, and so is The Gardners, The Ossie, The Lord Lyon, The Parkside, The Beehive, The Welcome, The Albert, The Clarence and The Birch Villa :(

While most of those above weren't exactly at the higher end in terms of quality, they all had character and you rarely heard anyone moaning about the quality of the beer. The pubs around Eastlands aren't a patch on any of those IMO - The Townley, Corner Shop, Eastlands, and Mary D's are all ok in their own right but take Hugh Ferris out of the equation and City Square compares very well to all those. The beer isn't cheap but it isn't in any of the other pubs either - they all ramp up their prices drastically on a matchday. It was £3.40 a pint in Mary D's at the back end of last season and no doubt it'll be more expensive this time around. It'll be at least £3.20 or £3.30 a pint in the other pubs too so if it's £3.40 in City Square then that's fine by me. Plus you get served staright away and it's a better pint than inside the ground.

And speaking of cheese, while people are happy bagging on the club is there anything more cheesy than that DJ in Eastlands Bar playing the same shitty cd of City songs every frigging matchday?

If your walking up you could try the Mitchell Arms which is on the way. Otherwise you could try any of the following which are all within a few mins walk of Mary D's:

The Manchester
Eastlands Bar
The Townley
Corner Shop

I know mate, that was my point really, about the lack of pubs. I tried Mary D's a few times in my last season there and couldn't take to it. I don't mind a plod me so I drank either in town and walked to COMS or in failsworth, got a bus up oldham road then walked from there. One thing I miss is that match day banter in sherwood, it was better than the match itself at times, (because we were shit!).

Your spot on mate. The pubs around Maine Road were infinitely better. As for the cheese element its the reason why Mary D's and Eastlands are off limits. Hopefully the prices shouldnt go up too much in the pubs, having said that when we first went in the Corner Shop it was £2.30 by last season it was £2.90.

Haha I was thinking similar with the lad who said he'd stick to Mary D's a couple of pages back. Let's get this straight - someone is complaining about the quality and price of beer and that hugh ferris is cringeworthy at city square, so they're gonna go to mary d's instead where they can drink a delightful traditional pint a full 20p cheaper whilst the dj sings songs that everyone has to awkwardly sing along to. Not cringeworthy at all that

Had a meeting up at City yesterday with Natalie and the rest of the guys who put it together and although I appreciate it isn't everybody’s cup of tea the club really are trying hard to create a good match day all round, from 1 1/2 hours or so before kickoff till an hour afterwards.....

There are some new ideas and for City Square (Including Miss Pike) which I think will work really well and overall the pre-game build up should make coming to City Square a must (although like I said it's not to everyone’s taste)

All I would ask though is to give Natalie and particularly me (lol) a bit of breathing space as I'll be getting involved in a lot more than last season and we all know I’m not exactly a polished performer....... Yet!! ;o)

Would of prefered someone who didnt get their tits out in public representing our club, cant have it all i guess.

Your right, Danny can you keep your moobs under wrap in future please. Thanks.

hehe .....

hardly as though City themselves have kept their boobs under wraps down the years , is it ?

And they've sure as hell made enough of em'!

I'll be turning up at five to three then. I shall also be putting together a proposal for a new BAC movement. (blues against cheese)

I can not champion danny enough. I propose we drop ferris jib the bird and just have danny. That's enough city, that's enough.........
