Glad I didn't disappoint ;) I was waiting for the lovely fans in aisles 106/107 to tell everyone how great I am but they obviously aren't on the forum tonight ;)

Best Steward Ever. Sends me to the bookies before every game, normally betting against the blues!!!!

you will be ejected tomorrow if you dont get in quickly I want £20 on 3-0 and Adebayor first goal, and dont forget to bring your chips and ketchup down to the front ;)

sorry to go slightly off! But...the stewards at the swamp are the biggest mongs i have ever set eyes on!

During the game I was clocked "slightly" on the stairwell!. Dick face walked up ( surrounded by back up and cops ) and told me that if i didn't sit in my seat off the stairwell i would be forcibly ejected. well I complied and he stared at me all the 1st half! waiting for me to be nawty!

At half time i saw him in the concourse and he was on his own then!

I pulled him and told him what I thought! and do you know what..the shithouse ran away from me nearly in tears!

All I will say is wanker!!!!! Didn't look at me once in the second half! Mini Hitler Fuckwit!

LMAO!

I've never had any problem with them whatsoever. Normally I just walk past them and go to my seat but when I first started going to the stadium they were polite and normally walked me to where the row is or at least would point it out to me and then to follow the numbers along. They have always been helpful in my books (section 102). There's a man who sits at the end of the row behind me to the right and they always tend to help him more or less every match which I find is a nice gesture seen as he's quite old aswell.

I suppose that is why I can't particularly relate to why people complain about them really but I simply assume its down to the staff on each section. They are only human, they'll have good days and bad days like the rest so you've just got to roll with it. Life goes on at the end of the day. You're there to enjoy the match (if possible).

Lots of them are rag scum twats who piss themselves on the concourse when we concede a goal. Had it out with them more than once and was threatened with ejection until I wrote to the club. Sad rag Gimps were moved

A few years ago I lost my son comming out after the game, a female steward aproached him after noticing that he was upset. She stood with him and waited by 238 stairs telling him that I would retrace my steps. By the time I got there she had calmed him down and told him that she would stay with him untill I found him. So for me they are exellent.

Always found the stewards to be absolutely fine.

Once had one come and talk to me about the flag we had draped over the front of the 1st tier. It wasn't causing a problem but he'd had a report it was. Turned out it was somone else's flag further along that was draped over too much and obscuring view below. But the steward talking to em was great, polite, explaining what was wrong etc. Have to say I was polite back and it was all dealt with amicably.

Sometimes I think it's how people react. If a steward has to speak to someone and that person starts getting absuive then the steward is going to find it hard to continue being ultra polite.

Another time I took my camera to a UEFA Cup game and got tickets near the tunnel. Steward came over and told me I couldn't use it. I thought he was joking (because I'd never had a problem before) and carried on. He then got the Senior Steward (the guy you see stood in the players tunnel during games) to come over. The Senior Steward explained to me it was a UEFA rule and they had to stop people. Again he was very polite and understanding and having explained the situation I accpeted what it.
