City support at Old Trafford.

Was in Stretford paddock when brightwell scored a screamer. Hundreds of us behind baconface. We were segregated off and sang for 90 mins. Good days.

I was there that day, only the net stopped the ball from hitting me in the face when Brightwell "wellied it"

I've been offered a ticket for next Sunday in their end, but know I wouldnt be able to contain my excitement if we won..........not sure what to do. Not got enough points for a ticket in the City end.

my last visit to the swamp was with blue dan 3 seasons ago - were sat on the back row of the stretford end top tier (what a shit view , it is like watching a match through a square cardboard tube) with all the salford retards - when rooney scored after 2 minutes us 2 were the only ones not cheering and stood out like a sore thumb ! after 20 minutes we "retired " to the bar area and watched the rest of the match from there , were joined by about half a dozen other city fans during the second half who had had similar experiences to ourselves - am planning to go again on sunday week in the corporate bit , hopefully it will be a calmer afternoon - especially if the red twats don,t score . my personal favourite experience of old trafford (apart from cricket !) was the 1972 derby - they scored first but city battered them and won 3-1 , estimated at least 15,000 city fans there that night .

I was amongst that group in there too. I remember I was right behind the flight of the ball, and watched it fly in. I reckon there were about 100 of us, totaly surrounded by there shower of cockney shit. We were all celebrating as though we had won the champion league, and non of them said a dickey bird.
At the end of the match leaving the ground, the City fans all got split up, and I remember it was a bit hairy as the cockneys were all looking out for us as we were in small groups leaving the dump. Thankfully me and my mate made it back to Manchester unscathed.

I was in the same position as you last time round, I turned it down for the same reason, and the fact that if I had to stand up if they scored I'd feel sick. Couldn't do it.

I remember going on my own and standing in the Stretford End/Paddock corner when Brightwell scored that 30-yard howitzer to equalise. I was only in my teens and all game, I was a bit on edge because I was surrounded by some tasty looking geezers. Then, when the goal flew in, about 30 of them all around me went mental. They were all blues . . . and the rags did nowt!

I was in the Scoreboard Paddock when Brightwell 'wellied' in the equaliser..... it was shear joy!!!!!! The annoying thing is, we should really have won that match...... the funny thing is, is the lack of United fans in thier standing areas!!!!
