City to give Liverpool guard of honour

As far as I'm aware there is no rule that a player is forced to clap at a guard of honour that the home club has no obligation to give. Even so the Mailonline claims to have approached City about something only a few brick throwing coach wreckers have got hysterical about. I don't remember the Mail approaching Liverpool over their fans putting City players at risk of serious injury in that coach incident.

Personally I am surprised little Bernie not clapping has not been given more news coverage than the dippers celebrating their first ever premier league at pier head or outside Anfield. Or that one City fan stopping their coach is not on the news. Lfc fans must be the most childish set of fans I know, never do anything wrong but are always wronged. They are really getting boring now

Says a lot about the Mail that they had to pander to the needs of Karaoke FC fans about 1 player not clapping a guard of honour.

Brilliant

Psychedelic Casual Is on the right track: “If you notice, Pep was at the end of the line applauding them out and he looked every one of them in the eye and I think he was expecting to have some eye contact so he could say “well done” or something to that effect. But they all ignored him and all of our players, not one looked at any of us.

Pep said something like “they’re the champions and you can see their focus even in the guard of honour they all looked focused for this game, they didn’t look up once”.

Pep won’t forget that.

And Pep knew exactly what he was saying!!! He doesn’t say anything without fully calculating his words first! But think about the real reason all those bin dipping arrogant gets didn’t show Pep or any of our players any respect by looking them in the eye....

They were too EMBARRASSED to. Because they knew they hadn’t won the title fair and square and the REAL champions were mentally preparing to tear them to sheds that night! And that’s why they lost 4 -0. Not as big-teeth says due to any lack of commitment but because they were gifted the league.

Good on you Bernardo for making it clear exactly what we think of them. He’ll probably get a two match ban for it!!!
