Does anyone know if the match will be shown anywhere near piccadily gardens? I'll be at a gig at the roadhouse until 7:30 so I dont have much time to frantically search around.

I would love this game to become our first big win of the season, but you never know with any team in the Champions League as anything can happen. Plus, this Ajax side is not the best one I have seen to be honest, especially if you compare it to the one they had in the 90's.

Mancini has to make the correct team selection and he must go out to dominate the midfield with a triangle of Milner, Barry and Yaya.

I think he will start with Tevez and Kun tonight if you ask me, although I would like to see Dzeko up top with Kun and Tevez behind - for me, Tevez can play in the hole as a creative outfit, and I believe he is just as good as Nasri at it, but not Silva.

I doubt he will make the bench but just being involved at his age will be a great experience for him. A City fan living the dream! Probably the only childhood City fan in the traveling squad too. Would LOVE IT if a player like him could make it, a local born club captain amongst the world superstars is a dream of mine for City in the future (our own Gerrard/Totti), but may take many years to even come close to happening.

If he works hard and has the desire to become the best he will get there, simple as.

Too many promising footballers stop practicing when they are told at a young age they are great.

Ronaldo is a great example, he was a great player when he joined at United, but he didn't stop until he was the best, unfortunately for him, he has potentially the greatest ever player rivaling him.

The thing with a lot of English footballers is that when the money starts coming in, even if it is at the low end of the pay pyramid for a footballer, they think they have made it. If they kept on practicing like mad into their twenties then we might just have a decent English national side.

I hope for George's sake that he keeps his head down and become a 'capitain fututo' for us.

Sky just showed some footage of Mancini out on the pitch with all the defenders doubling up with each other,literally showing them exactly what he want's from them positionally depending on where the opposition have the ball.

Also showed how he want's the forwards, had all four out there, to close down the opposition when we are without the ball.

Quite interesting considering our defensive lapses of late.
