Like how the pundits were bemoaning Arsenal's defence and amount of injured/missing players... yet never mentioned our make-shift backline, just slagged off our defending!

End of the day, I never put too much stock in pre-season friendlies... we've had great preseasons then been relegated... leave the giddiness to the Rags, Dippers and Tarquins who are all going to win the league now, apparently!

Would have liked to have seen a few more positives to be honest. Defensively we were a joke but hopefully the CB pairing will be very different next week.

Just don't have the players in defence yet. Prime example where Kolarov was closed down and he lost the ball, a player like Stones would have played his way out of trouble and then started an attack. A new keeper will probably be priority for Pep as well. Do think we look weeks away from being ready though.

Joe really needs to work on saving shots low to his left....time after time hes conceded there and i doubt Pep will stand for it.
Thought Ginger Kev looked good as did Zinchenko plus Sergio Navas and Sterling.
Cant understand why he hasnt tried Mangs and Otamendi as we will probably need them to start v Sunderland and Steau

Just going to list the positives to be taken from the match:

• Sterling is looking hungry and more comfortable on the right
• Aguero is starting things off well and seems to be sharp
• Nolito appears to have the dribbling skills to give us that different look when needed
• Delph's workrate is second to none
• Plenty of younger players with something to contribute
